Tech Specs

  • Content: 1 x Stormseal Seam Sealer 100ml bottle
  • Color: Clear
  • Typical uses: Seam Sealer. Use this product for sealing and waterproofing stitched seams and needle holes on tents, bivvies, waterproof clothing, and anything else that has leaking seams. Always test the product on a small area to check its compatibility and suitability of the product before making a major repair. Used it to reseal taped seams where the original heat-sealed tape has come loose or damaged. StormSeal can be painted over a large area to make perforated fabric impermeable again. Stormseal can be washed off with water before it has cured, but not afterward.

Note: Always make a test in an unseen location to check if the sealer is compatible with the fabric before making a major repair. Apply sealant where it may not been seen where possible. Sealant may reflect light differently or may alter appearance after exposure to sunlight.

Stormsure

Stormsure is a British company specializing in the production of repair adhesives and patching materials. It was founded by Robert Altham in 1998, driven by his disappointment with the available options in the market.

In 1998, Stormsure transitioned from plastic packaging to cardboard packaging. Previously, the company had manufactured all of its adhesives in aluminum tubes outside the United Kingdom, primarily in China. Presently, Stormsure operates alongside its sister company, Tubeworx, under the same roof, enabling the entire product manufacturing process to take place in one facility.
