Product Description

Sea To Summit Ultralight Insulated Air Sleeping Mat

If you want a lightweight sleeping pad but don’t want to sacrifice comfort, durability, insulation, or convenience of use, go no further than the Ultralight Insulated Air Sleeping Mat. The Air Sprung Cell design provides stability and support, while our lamination and weld quality establish a new level for dependability. Additionally, Thermolite and Exkin Platinum insulation provide the warmth of an ASTM standard R-Value of 3.1 – perfect for late spring to early fall camping.

  • 3.1 R-Value is sufficient for late spring to early fall use.
  • Exkin Platinum insulation reflects your radiant heat back to you, while Thermolite insulation prevents convective heat loss.
  • Lighter, quieter and durable 30D/40D face fabric with Sea to Summit’s liquid-extruded lamination is extremely reliable.
  • This multi-function valve and included Airstream Pump/stuff bag allow for quick and easy inflation, deflation, and adjustment.
  • Internal mold growth is prevented by an anti-microbial treatment applied to the TPU lamination formula.
  • The PillowLock system prevents your Sea to Summit Aeros Pillow from sliding.
  • Comes with a stuff sack which doubles as a pump, a repair kit with six self-adhesive patches and a spare valve insert.
  • Airstream Pump/Stuff Sack can be used to inflate Aeros Pillows – turn the inflator bag inside out; the nozzle will fit the mini pillow valve.

Sea To Summit

Sea to Summit began in 1983 when Roland Tyson, a young outdoor enthusiast, started making lightweight outdoor products on an antique sewing machine in his bedroom in Perth, Western Australia. By 1991, after outfitting the first ascent of Mt. Everest, Sea to Summit was born.

Roland's passion and talent for creating cutting-edge outdoor equipment took him to the remote Australian outback and eventually the Himalayas, where he put his inventions to the ultimate test. In 1993, Penny Sanderson joined Sea to Summit, bringing her passion for exploration and innovation. They traveled extensively, testing products and iterating on designs.

Today, Sea to Summit is a successful global brand, with Penny and Roland's love of travel and design as the foundation. They still own and manage the company and are involved in everything from developing materials to delivering high-quality gear to customers around the world.
