A durable, portable, and small hiking trowel is the Alloy Pocket Trowel. To save space in your bag, the handle retracts inside the blade and expands to the same length as the ideal “cathole” depth. It is made from the lightweight and durable 6066-T6 aluminum alloy and is the ideal tool for using Leave No Trace principles in the wilderness.

Sea to Summit began in 1983 when Roland Tyson, a young outdoor enthusiast, started making lightweight outdoor products on an antique sewing machine in his bedroom in Perth, Western Australia. By 1991, after outfitting the first ascent of Mt. Everest, Sea to Summit was born.
