NRS Pilot Knife

The features of the NRS Pilot Knife are appreciated by both rescue professionals and recreational boaters. Not only does its unique design draw attention, but the sheath also allows for easy access and release of the knife when you need it most.

  • Matte finish on orange, blue and green handle models
  • PVD coating on black handle model
  • Rope cutting hook
  • Glass-breaking point at handle end
  • Square hole in handle doubles as a valve wrench for an Oxygen tank
  • This knife is ideal for freshwater boating and rescue. Choose the NRS Titanium Pilot Knife for saltwater use.
  • The cutting edge is smooth and serrated, with a rope cutting hook.
  • The blunt tip design prevents unintentional puncture of your equipment or yourself!
  • Another safety feature is that the blade is only sharpened on one edge. In a tight rescue situation, this, along with the blunt tip, helps prevent injury.
  • The unique sheath securely holds the knife in place and only releases it when both sides of the release are squeezed.
  • The rubberized grip wraps around the contoured handle, giving you complete control over the blade.
  • The sheath clip is securely attached to a PFD lash tab.
  • The handle has a built in glass breaking tip on the end.
  • A bottle opener is also included in the knife’s handle.

NRS

NRS, celebrating 50 years, was founded in 1972 by Bill Parks, a passionate river runner and business professor. With a $2,000 investment, he started with boating gear in his garage and created the first Northwest River Supplies catalog. Bill’s love for rivers, adventure, and helping others pursue their water passions continues to inspire the dedicated team, even after his passing at 88. Today, nearly 100 employee-owners are committed to carrying forward his vision, all driven by their shared love for water and adventure.
