Get ready to hit the water any time with the NRS Men’s Crux Dry Suit – your perfect partner for all your water adventures. With the phone ringing off the hook and the gauge hitting the green zone, don’t think twice about embracing the water, be it under the sun or snow.

Designed with the traditional cross-chest entry, the Crux is crafted from our advanced waterproof-breathable technical fabric, the 4-Layer Eclipse™. This fabric guarantees unmatched dryness, breathability, and toughness, keeping you comfortable and dry.

The YKK® Aquaseal® waterproof front entry zipper ensures a watertight seal, with an additional hook-and-loop sealed flap for extra protection. With the convenience of a front relief zipper, you don’t have to worry about getting out of the suit when nature calls.

The NRS Crux Dry Suit comes with volcano-style self-draining Glideskin™ neoprene neck and wrist overcuffs that shield the premium quality latex gaskets. The 5″ wide neoprene band overskirt features a double-pull hook-and-loop closure that fits over your sprayskirt tunnel, completing a watertight seal.

The Eclipse fabric socks have double seam taping in the toe and heel for extra durability. The stretchy polyurethane overcuffs on the ankles, with adjustable hook-and-loop closures, safeguard the Eclipse socks. High-wear areas have an additional layer of Eclipse fabric for added resilience.

The Crux Dry Suit enhances mobility with its single-seam legs that eliminate wear points. To top it all off, the suit includes one PFD-friendly, splashproof chest pocket to keep your essentials secure.

NRS

NRS, celebrating 50 years, was founded in 1972 by Bill Parks, a passionate river runner and business professor. With a $2,000 investment, he started with boating gear in his garage and created the first Northwest River Supplies catalog. Bill’s love for rivers, adventure, and helping others pursue their water passions continues to inspire the dedicated team, even after his passing at 88. Today, nearly 100 employee-owners are committed to carrying forward his vision, all driven by their shared love for water and adventure.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best way to care for my NRS Men's Crux Dry Suit?

It's important to clean your dry suit after each use to remove dirt and salt, which can degrade the material over time. Hand wash the suit in cold water using a mild detergent, then rinse thoroughly and hang it up to dry away from direct sunlight. Regularly check the seals for any signs of damage and replace them as necessary. Always store the suit in a cool, dry place and avoid folding it to prevent creases which can damage the fabric over time.

What size should I get for the NRS Men's Crux Dry Suit?

The size you should get depends on your body measurements. NRS provides a comprehensive size chart on their website that you can use to determine the correct size for you. Remember that a dry suit should have a relaxed fit to allow for layering of clothing underneath and for unrestricted movement during water activities.

Is the NRS Men's Crux Dry Suit suitable for all water activities?

The NRS Men's Crux Dry Suit is designed for a range of water activities where staying dry is essential. This includes kayaking, canoeing, whitewater rafting, and paddleboarding. It's important to always wear appropriate safety gear such as a life vest during these activities for maximum safety.

Can the NRS Men's Crux Dry Suit be repaired if it gets damaged?

Minor damages like small punctures or tears can be repaired using a repair kit that includes fabric patches and adhesive. However, larger damages or issues with the seals and zippers might require professional repair or replacement. Always check with NRS or a professional repair service if you are unsure.

What makes the NRS Men's Crux Dry Suit breathable?

The NRS Men's Crux Dry Suit is made with Eclipse™ fabric, a proprietary material that features a 4-layer construction for superior waterproofing and breathability. This means that while water cannot penetrate the suit from the outside, sweat and condensation can escape from the inside, keeping you dry and comfortable.

Is the NRS Men's Crux Dry Suit suitable for cold conditions?

The NRS Men's Crux Dry Suit is designed to keep you dry in all conditions, but it does not provide insulation. In cold conditions, you should layer warm clothing underneath the dry suit. Always ensure that your underlayers are also breathable, to allow moisture to be wicked away from your body.

How should I put on and take off the NRS Men's Crux Dry Suit?

When putting on the suit, start by inserting one leg, then the other, followed by your arms, and finally your head. Be careful not to overstretch the seals when putting the suit on or taking it off. To remove the suit, reverse this process. Always ensure that the zipper is fully opened before putting on or taking off the suit to prevent unnecessary stress on the zipper.
