Hikers are familiar with the moniker GHEE. A salt-free product that provides a little extra energy for your selected portions.
The butter is easy to pack because it stays at room temperature. The product comes in a glass jar. Fri pack remains 900 kcal unopened for 8 months after manufacturing.
Although the product can also be used for months after it has been opened, the company suggests the following:
Butter is taken from the jar using clean cutlery when camping. Contaminants entering the jar reduce shelf life. Used properly, it can be stored for at least a couple of weeks, even if it is already empty.
