Non-stop dogwear

In 2006, in Oslo, Norway, the founders of what would become Non-stop dogwear faced a challenge with their talented skijoring dog, Hårek. While he excelled in free running, wearing traditional harnesses restricted his movement and breathing. Determined to find a solution, they began sewing their own harness, eventually creating the Freemotion harness, allowing dogs like Hårek to run freely and comfortably. This marked the early days of Non-stop dogwear, with a vision to “release your dog’s potential” by prioritizing the dog’s perspective in product development.

Founded in 2009, Non-stop dogwear has since become a global leader in designing and selling dog equipment. Their products can be found in over 1,300 stores across 27 countries, and their team in Norway continues to refine existing products and develop innovative solutions, always keeping the dog’s needs in mind. Non-stop dogwear’s mission is encapsulated in the phrase, “Release your dog’s potential,” driving their commitment to creating high-quality, functional equipment for dogs of all breeds and activities, whether for racing or mountain adventures.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I attach my dog's leash to the Trekking Belt 2.0?

To attach your dog's leash to the Trekking Belt 2.0, you can simply put the leash on the open hook for easy release. If you want more security, thread the leash through the D-ring first before putting it on the hook. However, it's important to note that you should not attach the leash directly to the D-ring as it's not designed to hold the dog on its own.

What's the proper way for the Trekking Belt 2.0 to sit?

Despite being called "waist belts," belts designed for dog trekking should sit low on your hips and bum to distribute the pulling force effectively. If the belt is too high, it can cause back pain and other injuries. It's recommended to use the leg straps attached to the belt to prevent it from sliding out of position.

How can I attach the Belt Bag to my belt?

To secure the Belt bag to your Ferd belt or Trekking belt 2.0, utilize the tunnel pocket located on the back of the bag by smoothly threading your belt through it. This simple process of sliding the belt through the pocket will firmly attach the bag to your belt, providing you with a hands-free experience while still keeping your personal items close by.

What's the best belt for me to pick?

The Trekking belt 2.0 is a great all-purpose belt that can be used for various activities such as hiking, running, and skiing with dogs. However, if you have a specific activity that you focus on, it may be worth investing in a belt specifically designed for that activity. Different activities require different features from your gear, so choosing a specialized belt can enhance your overall experience.
