Product Description

Gerber Defender Tether Compact Hanging

Keep important tools close at hand. The Defender Compact Tether features an on-finger carabiner for easy control and tension release, as well as a positive engagement lock. Easily carried with the removable pin, wide-body flexible clip, or lanyard hole.

The Defender is ideal for keeping fishing gear close at hand, as the 36″ Dyneema cable is more suitable for lighter tools; the smaller size allows for an additional mounting option, a threaded pin that can be attached directly to a shirt, jacket, or wader; and a slide lock keeps the carabiner in place when not in use.

To ensure optimal performance, rinse the tool with clean water and dry it thoroughly with a clean towel. Oil hinges and moving parts regularly.

  • Body: anodized aluminum, flat sage
  • Carabiner: anodised aluminum, orange
  • Secures tether w/ lanyard hole, retention clip, + threaded pin
  • Tip control carabiner to release tension + secure gear
  • Slip lock holds carabiner
  • 36″ dyneema cable
  • Wide mouth entry
  • Split ring
