Bushmen Thermo Blanket
This Thermo blanket is one of the most universal ways to protect against wet and cold weather. The design’s apparent simplicity hides a number of ingenious modifications that improve its thermal insulation capabilities and expand its usability.
The Thermo blanket is made of rip-stop, waterproof, and “breathable” polyester fabric that is sewn onto a layer of silver heat-reflecting material from the inside. The thermal insulation qualities are around 30% better than solutions without a layer that reflects heat radiation because of the insulation that the fleece and heat-reflecting layer provide in combination.
The rectangular Thermo blanket is 2 m x 1.4 m and includes eight plastic loops on the corners and longer sides. The shorter sides have welts, while the longer side has a comfortable hood in the center. Two tensioners and a carrying bag are part of the kit. This enables you to use, among other things as: Poncho, Underblanket, Side pocket, Picnic blanket, Bivy- cover, / emergency sleeping bag.
