Product Description

Anfibio Vertex Tour Paddle

In 2021, the Vertex paddle was completely redesigned (“Tour”). It keeps the large blade surface and optimized shape, but it’s much lighter and more appealing in terms of price-performance ratio. It can also now be adjusted in length and angle using a clamp lock.

The four-part paddle has a polished glass fiber shaft, which improves hand contact and thus helps avoid blisters when compared to coiled fiberglass. The strong nylon blades have a slight dihedral design that promotes a good catch, and the fine edges help with smooth paddling. Both the blades and the shaft are reinforced with fiberglass, making them fracture-proof. There are also drip rings included.

Use

The Anfibio Vertex Tour is designed for touring but can also be used on white water. Because the blades are smaller than those on our Anfibio Smash, the stroke is softer. If you require more powerful paddling, we recommend the Smash. Nonetheless, the Vertex has a larger blade area in use than the Wave.

It’s a good all-around paddle with a reasonable stiffness and light weight that offers good value.

Note: A paddle leash (add on) is only recommended for open water and currents with no white water class, as well as for securing the paddle when landing and pausing.
