Rapala
Rapala is a Finnish company specializing in the manufacturing of fishing equipment. Founded by Lauri Rapala in 1936, the company went public in 1998.
Lauri Rapala, who supported himself as a fisherman, came up with the idea to create a lure that mimicked the movements of an injured small fish, as an alternative to disposable bait for catching vendace.
