Ivalo River Guided SUP Tour

Paddle along the Ivalo River and explore northern landscapes from the water

May–August

Head out on a guided stand-up paddleboarding (also known as SUP) tour along the Ivalo River and experience northern Lapland from a different perspective. This is an easygoing and enjoyable way to spend time on the water, suitable for both beginners and more experienced paddlers.

After a short introduction, you’ll get comfortable on the board and start paddling with your guide. The route takes place on a calm section of the river, making it accessible and relaxed while still offering a sense of movement and progression.

We take a break during the tour to enjoy snacks and drinks before continuing.

This experience offers a fun and approachable way to try SUP boarding and spend time outdoors on the Ivalo River.

Do I need prior experience with SUP boarding?

No prior experience is needed. The tour starts with a short introduction, and your guide will help you get comfortable on the board before heading out.
