Arctic Watersports Day

Try stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling in the clear waters of Lapland

May–August

Spend a day by the water combining easygoing activity with something a bit different. This experience brings together stand-up paddleboarding, snorkeling, and a traditional Finnish sauna in a relaxed lakeside setting.

The day begins with stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). It’s easy to learn and suitable for both beginners and more experienced paddlers. After a short introduction, you’ll head out onto the lake and get comfortable moving on the water at your own pace.

After paddling, we take a break to enjoy lunch before continuing with the next activity.

In the afternoon, you’ll have the chance to try snorkeling. While the underwater world here is different from tropical destinations, the lake's historical underwater trees make the snorkeling along the lake shores very exciting.

For those looking to try something more, an optional scuba diving introduction is available for participants aged 12 and above.

To finish the day, you can relax in a traditional Finnish tent sauna by the lake. It’s a simple and enjoyable way to unwind after time on the water.
