Savotta Backpack 339
The 339 is much more than a backpack; in terms of size and carrying capacity, this saddle backpack may be considered a compact backpack. The 339 is an excellent alternative for longer excursions due to its large, easy-to-pack backpack bag and the carrying comfort of a modern tubular bag. A 1950s classic, only the materials have been upgraded throughout time, but the model has stayed the same.
The main compartment of the backpack bag (dimensions approx. 50 x 40 x 20-30 cm) is closed with a string and covered with a flap that closes with straps. The contents of the bag can also be quickly accessed from the right side of the mouth opening via a small side zipper. Behind the side cords, you can conveniently access accessories for the carrying case, such as a camping ax.
The body of the carrier is a 339 steel tubular frame. The frame is bent at the bottom, forming a leg on which the backpack is safe to lay even in a sharp rock. The carrying comfort is ensured by a vest-carrying system made of pipe frames in a familiar style. The operating principle is roughly the same as in the vest stack of tubular bags. The back length is infinitely adjustable to suit different length users. The upper back sits against a stretched mesh fabric and the lower back in turn with a saddle made of ribbon.
