The SENSITIVE line was created for people who are extremely sensitive to wool and find it irritating on their skin. The inside of the line’s products is knitted with a non-tickling bamboo fiber. The double knit of the tube scarf ensures thermal insulation, moisture transfer, and antibacterial properties (outside 100 percent merino and inside 100 percent bamboo).
Merino wool is an entirely natural product derived from merino sheep. Warm air is trapped between the skin and the outer layer of merino wool fibers. Merino-bamboo knit wicks moisture away from the skin effectively. Because of its antibacterial properties, it is frequently sufficient to simply air the cloth to restore its freshness. North Outdoor uses mulesing-free merino wool that is ethically produced.
