The Black Diamond Screwgate Carabiner was built using a Hotforge construction to be lightweight. To increase overall durability, the Hotforge construction removes weight where it is not needed and adds material where it is most needed. A low-profile, non-snagging nose makes it simple to clip and clean, and an easy-to-hold functional shape allows for easy carrying and hooking.
