Product Description
Anfibio Delta MX Packraft
The Anfibio Delta MX is one of the lightest packrafts with additional space and a sturdy design. MX stands for MultiCross because the packraft has enough space for a variety of applications.
Spacious and Light Design.
The boat's inner dimensions are generous, with a length of 140 cm and a width of 38 cm, but its outer dimensions are compact: the tube diameter tapers to 26 cm at the side, and the bow and stern (symmetrical) have a diameter of 41cm to ensure adequate buoyancy. The parallel hull measures 90 cm in width and 234 cm in length.
The boat makes use of an inflatable seat with a built-in backrest (Anfibio WideSeat). However, to save weight and space, baggage can also be used as a seat (like dry bags, sleeping mats). The boat, on the other hand, can be outfitted with two seats, which are also sold separately. here are 6 tie-downs (2 at the stern, 4 at the bow) for securing luggage, providing grab loops, or fastening a DeckPack.
Application
The Delta MX is yet another pocket-sized boat that can go anywhere and at any time. Because of the large interior space, it is ideal for transporting larger loads such as luggage, a child, or a bicycle. It will appeal to dog owners, fishermen, and very large paddlers (XXL). It's ideal for longer trips on calm rivers and lakes. It can carry up to two adults and normal luggage over short distances (e.g., river crossings). It is appropriate for:
- Simple river travel,
- Bicycle rafting (paddles and pedals),
- Traditional packrafting trips (combined tours on land and water),
- When traveling with children or pets,
- Trekking that includes river crossings (also for two on short distances),
- Adventure races and expeditions,
- Canyoneering and spelunking,
- Alpine lake fishing,
- Geocaching, and
- Sailing (dinghy),
Because it lacks a spray skirt and has a smaller tube diameter, it is not suitable for white water (max. class 1).
Use
The kayak-style boat is inflated with a large nylon inflation bag that attaches to the boat via a screw-in valve. Of course, no inflatable is indestructible, but in the (unlikely) event of damage, repairs can be done in the field in a matter of minutes using Patch'n Go, which bonds permanently to the urethane surface. Stormsure, a liquid urethane sealant, can be used to seal small pinholes.
Carbon footprint
Since 2018, all Anfibio Packrafts produced have been carbon offset through selected climate protection projects.
